August 2007, A.S. XLII Chatelaine's Newsletter
Greetings Chatelaines, Castellans, and Hospitallers,
My thanks are extended for those who survived Pennsic XXXVI and attended
the scheduled chatelaine meetings. It was especially wonderful to see
Robert of Rhydderich Hael, Keran of Sterlygne Vayle, and Dubesa of Thescorre!
Congratulations also to Lady Christine MacGregor for her Keystone Award!
For those who couldn't make it, the meeting minutes are posted here on
the website.
The focus for this Fall season is "Demos and Recruiting". We
will be reviewing materials, adding material to the Demo section of this
website, and posting to the chatelaine yahoo list in the hopes of generating
discussion and suggestions. Please share your thoughts and ideas with
the group! Also discussed and noted in the Kingdom Chatelaine Pennsic
meeting minutes, was my desire to host a "Demo Roundtable" at
War Practice next May... where demo tables can be set up and materials
viewed. I do hope you'll consider participating!
On another note: Fall and Winter are typically times for learning and
scholas. There will be class materials loaded to the website, but if you'd
like to see classes offered at an event, please drop me an email with
your suggestion.
